A CA firm is a services business with an unusual shape: a few hundred clients, the same dozen recurring jobs for each of them, and deadlines the law sets. Here is how a firm runs on Zynkrow.
The client master
Every client is a contact with the fields a practice needs — PAN, GSTIN, the entity type, the filing frequencies, who signs. Contacts are shared with Billing and the Client Portal, so a client exists once.
The statutory calendar
Compliance carries the calendar: GST returns, TDS, advance tax, ROC filings, PF and ESI, for every client by their registration. Each filing is a task with an owner, the documents it needs and a status. Nothing is remembered; it is listed.
Staff who know what to do next
Tasks are assigned by client and by service. A staff member's day is the list of what is due; the partner's screen is what is late. When work is done, the card appears in the partner's Chat — no status meetings.
Billing that runs itself
Clients are on a retainer, or billed per task. Billing raises the retainer invoice at the start of the period, or the task invoice when the work is marked done. Reminders go out by WhatsApp; payments come in by link.
The client sees their own things
The Client Portal gives each client their filings, their invoices and their documents — and nothing else. Fewer calls asking for a copy of last year's return.
We built this with practising CAs, and it is the setup a firm gets when it picks CA / Accounting / Tax as its industry. See the solution page.
